“I enjoy connecting with kids of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I love learning how to get the best from them (the athletes) and seeing their progress. Giving the kids a sense of achievement is very rewarding for me as a former athlete.

As an athlete in high school I excelled at the shorter sprints (200M, 400M and 4x400M) and triple jump. I made two trips to state in multiple running events. During my senior year I ran for NEK and made it to nationals placing in multiple events to include race walk. At the collegiate level I returned to cross country and found it was my niche. I fell in love with cross country because it allowed me to push myself to limits I didn’t know existed. It’s a race against yourself and I held myself accountable every time. I started my coaching career volunteering with NEK track club. I saw an opportunity with MTC and promptly joined the team in 2019. I firmly believe in mental training as much as I do physical training. Practicing visualization is vital for an athletes progress and has proven successful in meets! ."
